Saw this on an ad in one of my other apps. Tried it, hoping it wasn't a scam, and it totally wasn't, thank God..lol.. I was able to cash out up to $250 immediately (no interest, but of course there is a small fee to w/d instantly) but a small price to pay when you're in a jam and need instant cash. Empower was and still is a game changer for me, and I recommend it for anyone who is in a crunch and needs fast cash

The app definitely came in handy and was working perfectly for over a year now. Started off with $25, then got approved for $50, then $75, and eventually $150. It was fantastic! Until just recently when I paid back the $150 and then suddenly got dropped to a $75 advance - HALF of what I was getting previously. So, ultimately, I just lost $75 and I'm not sure why, as I always repay my advances and my regular income hasn't changed and has actually been slightly higher recently.

The app is great and the Thrive account really helps. The subscription fee is reasonable at $8. However, everything is set to autopay and it works fine but the subscription fee will always show as overdue for almost 3 weeks which locks you out of your money. Trying to pay thr fee just results in unknown error every single time. They will pull the money you pay back with no issues but if you need to borrow it again, you can't because of this subscription fee error that has yet to be fixed.
