About this app

SIGMA LINK enables you to download your trip data and transfer settings to your bike computer with your mobile phone.

With the models BC 14.16, BC 16.16, and BC 23.16 this works by using the NFC antenna. NFC is an international standard for wireless communication between devices on very short distances. Just put your compatible smartphone close to your BC to transfer the data.

The ROX GPS 11.0 connects to the App via Bluetooth Smart. With the connection of ROX and SIGMA LINK you can:

- have a look at your tracks
- share your activities in Strava, TrainingPeaks, 2 Peak
- see incoming calls on your smartphone screen during the training (smart notifications)
- download tracks from GPSIES and transfer it to ROX GPS 11.0

The direct communication with NFC and Bluetooth only applies to the bike computer models named above. However, you can transfer data of older SIGMA computers from your DATA CENTER to SIGMA LINK by using the SIGMA CLOUD.

If you need some guidance for NFC or BLE. Check our tutorial here:

I like the app and ability to download from my Rox 11 GPS and have it auto upload to Strava but the latest release seems to have many bugs and issues. 1. Blanks (doesn't close) any other app I may have open when open at same time. Very frustrating. 2. Keeps kicking me out while trying to rename an activity after I've downloaded it. 3. Numbers in statistics pane what I thought were totals turned out to be the range for that graph selection. Not intuitive at all.

From some point of time it stopped work with RC MOVE. Cannot connect the device. It just isn't seen on the mobile phone. Also, the application itself is too slow, i mean the interface. In general, it looks heavy and all animations (even simple scrolling) shows as they are in 15-20 fps, like in slow browsers (despite the powerful phone and tablet). I like the device, also have bike computer (BC 23.16) but the software seems to be is not developing. P.s. I've been using sigma device for the last 13 years.

Hello Олег Вялых, the RC MOVE is not designed for connection with the SIGMA LINK, so the connection does not work. Best regards, your Sigma Sport Support Team.

I own BC 16.16 STS. I downloaded the app and tried to connect first time to my smartphone HTC U11 via NFC. It was pain in the "lower-back area". However, I was able to find a solutions for two problems I so far encountered. Not functioning NFC and wrong imported date/time in trip data. About the NFC, I found out that the best position to hold my smarthphone is about 2 cm over Sigma device in a similar way as shown in the image in app. However, you must find more or less exact spot on your smartphone where probably the NFC device is and hold it relatively still in this position until it finishes the data download. If you manage to get a hang of the position, app will connect really fast. The other thing is the wrong imported date of transferred trip data, which was 18.10.2018. But I did the trip today (26.04.2019). The good thing is, you can edit the date/time by going to Activities, then select the one you want to edit and then click on the "i" icon in the bottom. All the stuff except ones with gray text is editable. I think, Sigma device makes a time-stamp into chip when you reset trip data, which was in Oct, when I was last time on bike. So reset it right before your trip.
