With this new update I am no longer able to permanently change the reference on the payments I need to make. I changed my reference from "week 218" to "week 219" and when I tapped the tick, it just went straight to the payment, not asking me if I wanted the change I made to be permanent like it used to do. I went out and back in and it had reverted back to "week 218"! Not good enough! Fix it!

They just updated the payment UI. It's now like a dyslexia simulator for me. The text is too small, the font is bad for dyslexia, the contrast is far too low (mid grey text), and on one screen there's a noisy background too. Especially in the statement details, everything but the headings is mid grey text on a black background, not enough spacing or use of bold text to be able to find any visual anchor to not lose your place. You don't want to make a mistake when paying someone; now you will.

Who ever is making design choices, please stop. Every change makes it worse. The app is becoming less cohesive as if teams are designing their own pages in silos. I've been a customer for over 20 years and have never been so disappointed with my digital banking experience. I'm talking about the new page designs, not the Kiwibank rebrand. Both aesthetics and functionality are being ruined. It's utterly disappointing.
