The app was never great, and then it stopped connecting to my phone entirely. This isn't a huge deal breaker for me, but I fail to see why, in the year 2024, it should be THIS hard to reliably transfer photos to my phone. Camera is FZ1000II, phone is a Galaxy S21. These are not obscure devices, and this lack of functionality (which my 11-year-old Nikon Coolpix NAILED) is deeply disappointing.

DC-TZ95 user. The WiFi connection with the camera is sometimes a little shaky at first, and may require a restart to get all features working, e.g. the autofocus button. Unsure whether that's an issue with the camera or the app. Once it gets going, though, I've found that it's reliable enough to successfully control the camera for a few hundred shots in a row.

I can connect my GX9 with my Samsung 9+ using Android Pie, but transfer of even a minimal number of images loses the WiFi connection repeatedly. The app is then rendered useless. After a repeated number of tries, I gave up and resorted to using a USB-C card reader connected to the Samsung, which is faster, consistent, but defeats the purpose of this app and my GX9. I also own a Nikon D7500 which works its wireless connection flawlessly. Sorry, Panasonic, you have lost a future buyer.
