- Assign a unique ID and serial Number to your dash cam.
- Wi-Fi Network Freedom (Most Models): Change your Wi-Fi network name and password directly in the app after a firmware update (applies to most models, except some older R2 models).
- Voice Guidance for Wi-Fi Connection (R2, R2 PRO & R3): We heard you, Android can switch between known wifi & cellular networks automatically in the background, giving you voice guidance stating wifi is connected and disconnected prompts. Some users found them to be annoying, and we agree. You can now set this WiFi voice guidance to off.
- Advanced Video Settings for R2-4K and R2-4K PRO: Take control of your video quality with the new "Video Bit Rate" feature. Increase or decrease the bit rate to fine-tune your recordings based on storage needs and desired quality.
App Launcher Shortcuts: Access specific app screens directly from the app icon by pressing and holding it. Clicking a shortcut will take you straight to live video, dash cam video, local video, or settings instead of opening the main app and then navigating to it when connected to ROVE Dash Cam's WiFi.

- Performance Boost: Under the hood, we've made numerous bug fixes and performance improvements for a faster and more stable app experience.

Pretty good app, but I am not able to figure out how to: 1. Sort the LONG list of 1-minute files in REVERSE chronological order with the most recent on top. Scrolling all the way through a day's long list of files just to get to most recent (and most likely desired!) file is a complete PIA. 2. Visually indicate on the file listing that a file has been locked so it is easy to find. Or better yet , a folder called "Locked" that has a listing of Locked files These seem like very basic things.

Been using for a week. My biggest issue is when you're in one particular section, and then try and go back, the app freezes. i then have to close/re-open to restore functionality. Using new samsung hardware with latest OS. One thing I noticed, using a Galaxy Fold 6, the app doesn't work properly when phone is open in tablet mode.

App connects to camera just fine. Downloading video over built-in wifi is incredibly slow, and the video doesn't show in the local album after downloading. Tried to leave feedback regarding this after disconnecting from the camera, and the app claimed I was still connected to the camera's wifi. My wifi was turned completely off and I was only using my cellular connection. If you're set on using a camera from this company, don't bother with the app. Better yet, don't use a camera from Rove.
