Here Comes the Bus® is an easy-to-use app that lets you view the real-time location of your child’s bus on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

With Here Comes the Bus, you can send your child to the bus stop at just the right time, helping to avoid missed buses or long waits in freezing temperatures, pouring rain, the hot sun or rush-hour traffic.

The app hasn't been working for the last week at all and even before then was spotty on when it would show the bus. I rely so much on this app because I have a special needs child. if it wasn't for when the app worked properly we would be outside waiting for a very long time and when your child is a flight risk that's just something you take very seriously. Being able to know when the bus is down the road is beyond helpful, it assures my child a better day..when it works correctly.

The concept is great, and when it's working, the experience is great, and makes sure we make the bus on time. But most days, the app tracks the wrong bus, or doesn't show the bus, or claims the bus has passed the stop. I don’t know, though, whether this is a problem with the app, or the district switching bus routes and not sending updates.

App WAS very useful & accurate in the beginning. It was a great tool to use especially on rainy days and would've been helpful on cold days such as road. But the past month or so it either does not notify at all (most often), notifies miles away from specific radius, notifies both push and email (when push only) and notifies multiply times at once. It was cool for the kids to see the bus moving and where the bus was. Now it says bus is not in service so there is no information. Please fix!

-Added Cancel a Ride screen, which enables users to inform bus drivers that their students won’t be riding the bus for specific routes (such as the AM or PM ride) and dates.
-For school districts using a district app for parents and students, added the ability to include a link in their app that will launch the HCTB app.
-For students who use Bus Pass in the HCTB app to scan on the bus, changed how the student drop-down list is displayed so that the list now appears over the bar code or QR code.
