Non-stop errors. 5+ Hour wait time Requested roadside through the app. First few tries it wasn't able to process the request. Finally it did. Then I see that I have a duplicate request open so I cancel one and leave one open. Wait 30 minutes and don't receive updates despite having push notifications enabled. Decided to call. They found the request but said it didn't go all the way through. Well thankfully I callled! No inclement weather. Perfectly dry. Literally a quarter of a mile a way from a well equipped tow company. Had to wait over 5.
Forced to Install After waiting on hold, the AAA rep said "We're too busy to procedd your call. Download [this app] on your smart phone and request service." After 30 minutes on download, installation, and setup, finally got to a point to request service. 3 hours went by while it said "Cannot determine ETA". 3 days later, still have a flat tire. Not sure which to do first: delete this (huge) app first, or cancel my AAA membership.
A good decision I was looking for a new insurance company for my vehicle & was surprised to find that AAA was cheaper all the other companies I checked with. It's only been a few months, but I have am happy with everyone I've dealt with so far. I have peace of mind also knowing that I have competent road side assistance when I need it. So far I haven't needed it, hallelujah!
Battery hog The app works. I've been able to book flights from it. However I'm seeing it near the top in battery usage of all my apps nearly all the time, even if I hadn't opened the app in a very long time, even if I haven't since restarting my phone. I have no idea what it's doing in the background but I cannot think of a reason for it to be running and using precious battery power so greedily. Strongly considering uninstalling it until I need it again.
Incredibly bad app design. Screens do not scroll. Sometimes it asks for email, sometimes membership #. Took me trial and error to set up an account. Since I already have a AAA account with an email address and a member # why don't the accounts just sync. Very confusing. I am an experienced IT person. I can't imagine what it would be like for someone else.
Are you so arrogant not to beta test? After your update you completely destroyed the app and you expect the members to rely on it? There are so many problems from freezing, to incorrect mileage calculations, and much much more! No bonuses for you with this kind of cheesy app program. Fix it the right way, so we can use it.
