About this app

Meet the new Vanguard app. We’ve updated and refined our features to make it easier than ever to invest from your mobile device. Along with our sleek new look, you can also log in to your accounts with Fingerprint ID. We’ll be rolling out new updates every few weeks, but if there’s something you want us to build, you can let us know in our Support tab.

Use the app to do the following (some features may not be available for employer-sponsored plans):

• Access an overview of your accounts to check your total assets and balances.

• Dive deeper to track your account performance, cost basis details, or day change information for each of your holdings.

• Make trades, deposit checks directly into your accounts, and review your transaction history.

• Find help, update your login preferences, and leave feedback via our Support tab.

Edit: A year later nothing has changed. It's still bad. No suggestions this time because there's no hope for this app. Edit:They are now not showing the total % rate of return on each individual investment. Just the total amount. Most important parameter to track performance now missing. Infuriating....Old review: They have improved their app website. It is now way better than Fidelity's app website. You can clearly see your total rate of return and cost basis etc. in a clear manor. Finally!

Holy moly this thing has gotten terrible. It's great The dashboard but getting out of that dashboard and any to anything else is clunky it's a mess. To find withdrawals and loans or contributions or anything like that it's just so terrible I don't know why they changed it this way. I get that before it was very simplistic and maybe that's why they changed it and the dashboard looks great but you're hiding everything behind clunky tools and tabs and a lot of searching it's just terrible now

Adding two stars to my review. The app now supports all of my accounts/portfolios. They have massively improved the app. One annoyance is the buy page takes a while to come up, if it ever comes up. Another big annoyance is the back button from the returns graph, instead of going back to home screen it logs you out! Wish there was a way to completely remove the feedback thing that pops up when looking at transaction history.
