Ratings and reviews

The app looks good and is usable but it feels it's playing games with the prices sometimes. Full price at the list of cars please. Also not clear if the codes provided have an impact or not. you have to guess and try with and without. But what takes the prize on customer love: I had to extend car return by an hour due to flight delay, app plays along with the final confirm button saying "it may incur additional charges". In other words, agree to being charged whatever I tell you after you agree.

The app has degraded significantly in the last year. Creating a reservation is still easy. Aquiring any sort of rental support or customer service is nearly impossible. The app provides very little information regarding the rental and speaking with an associate is as difficult as swimming, the Atlantic without arms. In the last year, the Avis online solutions have become a very "Buyer beware" experience.

Can't retrieve receipts! Fill in all the credentials, click get receipt, nothing happens. Same with the desk top. Why does the desk top let you go back 6 months but the app only let you go back 2 months? Too many steps to retrieve your receipts and still not get them to open is ridiculous. When you call for help customer service seems too bothered and then resends the receipts out of order and with multiple duplicates but not all the receipts requested. Please fix the app and site.
