Ratings and reviews

Initially impressed at the selection and prices, that all went out the window when I got my order. One pair of pants had been labeled my size on the app, but when I got them, they weren't even close to my size! Despite this being their mistake, I still had to pay the restocking fee and the options to return are atrocious. I opted for the site credit figuring I could find something else, but now can't even get close to just spending the credit amount.

As a consumer, I enjoyed ThredUp. As a seller, I am now uncomfortable buying products knowing the small percent sellers receive along with sellers being told their items are "unsellable" and are being "recycled" when instead, they get sold and ThredUp keeps the money. Magically several of my items I shipped to them have gone missing, including a Coach product. Ironically the less expensive items that were in the same package haven't gone missing and are listed. Won't buy or sell here again.

Dropped my rating from 2022 because I really feel like this app has changed. It used to really feel like a steal, you'd find great pieces at great prices. And then on top of that they'd have sales, so it was a thrifters dream come true. Now, I find that even with the sales, the prices are so much higher than they used to be. I'm finding used clothes that are listed at the same price they would be New from the original retailer, and you might save some money on it if there's a sale going.
