About this app

AlcoDroid is an alcohol consumption tracker, drinks diary and blood alcohol content calculator. AlcoDroid helps you get a better handle of what you drink and change your drinking habits. Optionally it also tracks costs of your drinks.

AlcoDroid also provides an estimate of your blood alcohol content (BAC) based on the drinks you've logged, plots your BAC development in a chart and indicates when you get below the legal limit or back to sobriety.

Widgets are available to display your current BAC on the home screen.

AlcoDroid also allows you to:
- show, edit and export your drink logbook
- chart your drinking habits daily, weekly or monthly
- display and export daily, weekly and monthly alcohol consumption statistics
- set your drinking goal (e.g. 21 standard drinks per week, SD/w) and see how your drinking matches the goal
- setup your own list of "drink presets" to log your drinks fast
- pin the most frequently used drinks to the main screen to log your drinks by two clicks
- share your status and BAC chart on Facebook, by e-mail etc

Supports US, imperial and metric units. Alcohol intake can be displayed in standard drinks (US, UK, CA, AU), grams or milliliters per week or day.

For some reason keeps crashing into the 2nd screen. And though there's no extra battery drain that I can see, my phone got a hot spike after this happening 3 or 4 times in a row. The play store says it's compatible with my phone, which is a OnePlus 8t, so I'm hoping the devs will fix the issue. I'll keep this installed for awhile to give them the chance to fix it and once the app works correctly for me, I'll be back to give more stars for this review.

Useful features for tracking alcohol consumption, but no back button (system gestures don't work either) and no way to export data in a standard format for use elsewhere. Every attempt to use "share" crashes the app. I'll update if this changes. UPDATE Aug 2026: app now freezes constantly, needing a screen off/on or force close. Backups fail too, with error: "Could not save backup. Phone storage not available?" There's no way to edit backup settings..

I love this app. Great for tracking alcohol consumption and objective BAC in real time. As far as I can tell, it is very accurate, it is intuitive, and comes with features such as a widget for your home screen so you won't forget to use it. There are a TON of features, so take your (sober) time with it to get used to everything before implementing full-time. Make sure to consider your goals (if any), biological sex, weight, and relative metabolic rate when inputting personal settings.
