To me,it was the best. I mean,other apps are also great in teaching the language,but they teach a lot of things that I noticed that when learning english ( I'm not a native speaker of English ) despite being important to know,it wasn't that useful such as the days of the week,simple things like that. But in this app you will learn right away verbs that we constantly use in everyday conversations. And there are other things such as "Immersive Lessons",those are pretty good too.

I was not expecting the free portion of the app to be limited to beginner lessons. Since there are many features exclusive to premium users from the beginning, it surprised me a lot to be unable to continue with the regular lessons after a certain point. I wish this was made clear from the beginning. My plan was to finish the regular lessons and then join the premium membership for advanced immersion later if I could afford it. Great app overall, but I found the monetization structure misguided.

with only three lessons I learned to write 2 characters, and with more than 10 lessons on Duolingo I couldn't even tell the meaning of one. this is soooo much better than every app I tested for learning Chinese, it's fun, has a lot of examples to help study and the references (like 人 is like a person walking) help a LOT! I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn Chinese quickly ♡
