After the last fire tv update, it only works intermittently. Keeps on freezing and/or disconnecting. Only had used it for a week prior to update and worked fine. Keeps on stating to make sure my phone and firetv are on the same network. How many networks does one have at home?? Seriously. Frustrating as I'm using it while I try to find my lost fire tv remote. I don't want to buy a new one, why should I even there's an app to fill the gap in the meantime?

so far so good. no ads. no volume button BUTyou can click the voice (alexa) on the "remote" or app and say turn the volume to 20.. or whatever you want it at and it will change the volume... so there is a way to do it. you just have to use voice for it also for people who need to connect if its off unplug and plug back in and it should come o and you can connect- that's how I've done it in the past. best app I've used ..honestly can we really complain when there are no ads n its free???

For how often I lose the tiny little remote, I rely on my phone OFTEN to control the TV. I love it! The only thing it doesn't do is independently control the TV volume (Which is obvious, and therefore not a problem at all). The fact that I can type in what I'm looking for on my phone keyboard instead of clicking individual letters with the proper remote makes searching so much easier! 10/10
