Ratings and reviews

In dropping my rating by another star. This app and company just keep getting worse and worse. I need to contact our upcoming hotel, but the feature to contact the hotel through the app hasn't been working for the last week. There also seems to be no way to get help from a human anymore, there is just an AI bot that can't do anything beyond cancel a booking. I'm in an awful hotel, so bad that I've had to leave in the middle of night, and I can't get any assistance with a refund.

Price gouging. I have been a member for a long time and I even got status and rewards. But lately we have noticed that my price is always $10 more than if my partner search or book it. I travel a lot for work and I do corporate travel so I'm guessing the algorithm is trying to raise the price and nickle and dime me because I can afford to pay more. This is terrible, especially for loyal long term customers

Edit: A recent update broke the app on my Pixel 7 but not my wife's Pixel 9. I can log in on the website but not via the app. Original: Very nice but for a couple flaws: can't copy the address of hotels by long-press and the 8% discount advertised in the app isn't available if you are paying in a foreign currency. Also the price advertised and used to sort properties doesn't include all taxes and fees, which vary greatly.
