Ratings and reviews

All prices are in USD even when you are reserving something in Canada. No currency is displayed Anywhere in the app so it is very misleading. It is only when you receive the reservation confirmation in your email, when it is too late, that it tells you the reservation amount was in USD and not CAD. So the reservation was much more expensive than expected.

The app has a bug or two. Just as another review said, booking goes swimmingly. But after you have no record of your booking. Error message saying it cannot connect to "My Trips." Also get a weird copy icon as if you just selected something to copy. This shows up when you first open the app or when you refresh. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it worked properly for like 1 minute. Then it started bugging out again. I hope it's fixed soon.

Use hotwire alot! This app is even better because it's super easy and fast. A few clicks and we're booked with a great deal! Update: A few years later, i still use the app a lot. However, the app never remembers my updated credit card, and my trips do not display. I always see "Oops. Something went wrong". Going to try to uninstall and reinstall.
