App is currently unusable on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. keeps telling me prices are better in the app (spoiler, I'm in the app). when I go to book it tells me I should log in and then hangs when I hit the login button. I went to the left menu to login there and it shows I'm already logged in. app also tucks behind the status bar at the top rendering any buttons at the top of the screen completely unresponsive. tried to report a problem in the app and it crashed...

took my money for a reservation and the property didnt have it so i had to pay out of pocket. spent 45 minutes trying to get a refund to get put in a non stop circle of holds and transfers. i wont use this app again horrible experience. use priceline which also takes money and makes it hard to get back or Booking even better. The best option is to call the hotel before you go to it and ask if they have rooms dont use 3rd party apps. they dont care about anything but taking your money.

I used to love hotwire but it's terrible for travelling with pets. Many hotels have decided to charge outrageous fees for travelling with pets. So if you don't know which hotel you are booking, you don't know the fees. Same for parking or other add on fees. I've booked over 100 nights through the app but am deleting it after having the pet fees nearly double my cost on a few recent stays.
