Ratings and reviews

I've been using SumUp for over a year and it has been an easy/affordable way to take card payments for my small business. However, once I had issues logging in, it took me almost a month to resolve. The chat bot takes you in circles and contacting them via email is equally frustrating: I had to repeat my problem over and over just to be told "after logging in click a,b,c". There is no customer service number. No real people to speak to.

Utterly useless app. Two days notice to confirm details to keep within regulations but fails to update said details due to constant error messages (or jumps to chat, for some reason). Customer Support is AI and even if you get through to an agent to try and resolve issues, it doesn't work. Can't update details on the website either. Given how the card reader barely works most of the time, I think I'll delete my account and take my business elsewhere. Waste of time.

This is so complicated to edit and manage invoice refunds etc. Things take so long to change and manage its just becoming silly to use... why remove a feature that you cant change the price of your invoice. instead it's now make a credit note cancel off and invoice make a new invoice and send. 100% pain in the arse!! response to response. So why was it I could amend invoice before. lets say I misspelled a clients name then I have to cancel the invoice start a new one. whole waste of time.
