This messaging app has a really tiny app size compared to the competition, making it really fast to download. The SMS backup technique is helpful when you have to change your device, or it gets stolen. This way, you can retrieve the text message from both group messaging and private messaging easily using the SMS backup in this messaging app.

The blocking feature helps preventing unwanted messages easily, you can block all messages from not stored contacts too. Blocked numbers can be both exported and imported for easy backup. All conversations can be easily exported to a file for simple backup or migration between devices.

Ratings and reviews

Loads very slowly. Free version runs an ad before it opens. Even after the ad runs all the way and you get to where there's an "x" to close it, closing it takes you to ad's website, not the app. Paid version is a subscription, not a one-time fee. I might have paid for it if it was a one-time fee and not a subscription. Would have liked to give the app a fair try. If they switch to a one-time fee model, I will.

Ridiculous pricing to remove ads. $19 CAD per week for ad removal, that's $988 annually for a messaging app! The ads are also very intrusive, upon opening the app, you are greeted with a full screen ad. They really need to work on their ad pricing and placements. Many of their other apps are good though, like. the gallery and calendar. Will skip this one though.

exactly what it says it is. a simple sms messenger. perhaps my only complaint is how long it takes for a sent message to show into the chat. which is a very minor issue. i was easily able to transfer old conversations. i enjoy the way it looks, but if you want to customize colors you need to pay. which is fine. its the price of a coffee and its a nice app :)
