this is a horrible app. Links to shared trips are nearly impossible to open. you cant just view it on the website, you need to download the app. then you need to create an account. then they never sound the code to confirm the account. when they finally dp, guess what, link still does not work. hire a developer. My friend booked the trip, but I will never use vrbo. horrendously inconvenient.

The app is near unusable, non-stop glitching. I wasn't able to access the door code upon arrival, because the app sends you on a continuous log-in loop. Thankfully, the hosts were very responsive. I wouldn't have chosen to use Vrbo, but when I booked through Expedia, they told me it was managed by Vrbo. I will say that support was very friendly, and tried to do their best. When we got disconnected, they were kind enough to email me the property details. Support 5/5, the app 2/5 at most.

Pricing is very obscure and it is impossible to find out the final price without going through the entire booking process. Even then, you get charged an additional "service fee" that is not calculated at the time of booking - it pops up as a surprise on your credit card after the fact. No official invoice is sent - you just have a pricing screen on the app which is even more useless and gives no totals. The service fee, while mentioned, is not detailed on that screen. Stay away from VRBO!
