Ratings and reviews

I don't like the extreme proliferation of AI-generated slop on this app nowadays, and the UI has gone downhill (over cluttered and confusing), compared to when I first started using Zedge several years ago (and even then the UI wasn't great). I'm questioning more and more if it's worth keeping even a modestly priced annual subscription, when you could find many such images elsewhere now. Nevertheless, there are gems hidden in the rough here, so for now, I stay.

Surprise another broken update. Opening the app says there's an update. Go to update and there isn't one. Can't access anything. The "support" keeps sending the same cut and paste reply to go to Zedge > Settings> Help-send your device + OS so we can look. Except we can't because we can't open the app. Why is that so hard to understand?

Predatory practices. App used to be great for getting wallpapers and ringtone but after you pick (or sometimes even before) what you want, youre stuck with Ads with fake X buttons. I've found in some cases you cant get back to the app unless you completely close it. long story short, app used to be great, now unclosable, predatory ads make it awful.

What’s new

This release brings performance improvements and smoother overall experience across the app. We’ve enhanced ad delivery and search results, improved audio playback and landing pages, and refined AI creation features including better wallpaper support. We also fixed duplicated items, improved image aspect ratios, resolved some account-related issues, and addressed minor bugs to make the app more stable and reliable.
