Ratings and reviews

Not sure where all the good reviews are coming from, this thing is useless! It constantly hunts moving the blue box around all over and can't make its mind up as to what is and what isn't my document! I've tried a wooden table and on a large sheet of white paper, no luck. I have over 200 pages to digitalise, with this app it will take me forever. EDIT: I recommend CamScanner instead.

Very good app for scanning documents. Compared to other similar apps, this one does not have annoying ads or features that you can only get by paying a subscription (or I haven't found them yet). The app is really good at recongnising the document and scanning it automatically, although sometimes I need to recalubrate it by selecting a previous scan and then going back to scanning, but this can be fixed with a software update. Overall very good product!

Have used various scan apps over the years including paid ones. Settled on Evernote for a while, but that was sketchy and doesn't make PDF, then moved to Dropbox scanner which was better, but the scans nearly always need adjusting, now onto this one which is the best to date imo. Also allows you to share w/Dropbox, Evernote and others. Really decent showing, deserving of 5*. Only downside is the naming. It's not obvious and 90% of the time I've pressed save before amending it. If you could make it more obvious, that would be great!
