NOTE ON GPS SUPPORT: Strava depends on GPS for recording activities. In some devices, the GPS does not work properly and Strava will not record effectively. If your Strava recordings show poor location estimation behavior, please try to update the operating system to the most recent version. There are some devices which have consistently poor performance with no known remedies. On these devices, we restrict installation of Strava, for example the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 and the Galaxy Express 2. Was using this app last year, worked well. But this year, may be after the update or after changing the mobile it's very erratic. Does not record full ride, stops in between, does not start after auto pause..among other issues. Disappointed. looking for other apps. update: Back to Strava after a gap of years.. The updates have been outstanding. And its works perfect. The workout analysis is spot. Trying to use with wear os. Let's see how it works out.

Overall a great app and useful for sharing runs and keeping up with friends. After using it for a few years, I decided to subscribe (more to support a system that I use than for the extra features). Taking off one star since it seems impossible to remove the "athlete intelligence (beta)". (I'm not on the beta program). What it says is just plausible enough, but with no actual usual information, and sometimes pointlessly wrong. I'm sure some people will like it, but I think it's just noise.

Good for recording activities as a non subscriber. Tracking can be a little off at times, though it's usually fairly accurate. This can depend on weather, location and clothing. Presents a good selection of Challenges to keep a person motivated. Options for various activities are good, although niche activities I present as a "workout". Happy to recommend this A0p, both on a phone and laptop. Options to sync, but you'll need somebody more savvy than me to how you how

What's new
Maintenance time! This week we refreshed our Basemap. This means the map that powers all things Maps is now updated to reflect more recent activity. So you might notice things like a new POI for a café that just opened up a few months ago, or even better routing when you generate routes.
