キャロットでは、みなさんが安心してご近所さんとのフリマを楽しめるよう、位置情報が利用地域に設定した地域内にいるかどうかの確認をしています。
本当のご近所さんとだけフリマができるため、安心してご利用いただけます。
※細かい位置情報ではなく、おおよその位置情報が利用地域内にあるかどうかを確認します。
※位置情報がアプリ内で他のユーザーに公開されることは一切ありません。

【あたたかさ】
”あたたかさ”は、温度で表されたユーザーのマナーを確認できる指標です。
初めは人の基礎体温である36.5度からスタートし、お取引相手から受けとったレビューやマナー評価によって「あたたかさ」の温度が変化します。
高い温度は、すてきなマナーの持ち主の証です！

【チャット機能】
お取引に関するやり取りは、販売者と購入者のみが見れるチャットルームにて行います。
購入意思が決まっていなくても、商品に対する質問や気になることを気軽に送ってOK！
購入が決定したら、約束時間や待ち合わせ場所を決めてみてください。
お取引後の感謝の挨拶もチャットにて送ってみてくださいね！
気持ちを簡単に伝えることのできるスタンプも豊富に用意しています。

Ratings and reviews

Not too bad but five minutes in I'm dizzy/nautious. Kijiji does the same. Marketplace doesn't. There is a lot of room for improvement with the images and interface. It limits you to your immediate neighbourhood - there might be a setting to increase the range. It shows the person's other listings on the same page, which is handy. I'll probably check this app occasionally like I do Kijiji. If they improve the scrolling, that will help.

I'm visiting the lower mainland for school and was really happy to see this app recommended to me as I needed a few second-hand items pretty quickly, cheaply and in the short-term. It's a lot like Facebook Marketplace, but less flooded with scammers and useless advertisements. If you live in a very populated area, it's great.

While the app works, and is relatively easy to use, I find it is simply too needy and laborious. It's constantly sending reminders and notifications about things that I don't care about. I can't filter or separate system notifications and chat notifications so I'm forced to look at every single one just to see if it's sale related or not. In addition, it asks to re-confirm things like my location, which is just plain ridiculous. That's something easily done when posting a new item.
