Ratings and reviews

Brave generally does a fantastic job of keeping any browsing session ad-free, and protects my data pretty well. There are lots of option toggles for what you want to see and share (you can even block YT shorts), which is great, though they may be a tad confusing to find for older folks. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking for a no muss, no fuss ad-blocking browser.

No ads on YouTube is a game changer. The PIP mode when watching video needs some work. It doesn't work by swiping up on my Pixel 10 Pro screen. I've just started using the PIP button at the top of the browser. I wish I could use the gesture instead. Also sometimes there's an issue with the PIP frame not showing the full framing. Sometimes the top of the frame is cut off and black space is shown below the video.

My review was 5 stars, but recently it's been deleting whichever tab(s) I last used when I open it, and has this really annoying thing where it groups tabs automatically and doesn't ungroup them even if there's only one tab left. I used to love this app but these bugs are so infuriating I just can't. Please fix them or I'm switching to Opera. also, the search engine is cruddy compared to others.

What’s new
