Email shouldn't be this difficult. No way to select all emails in the app or mobile site view. Ie, if you want to delete all of the emails in your search results. From a mobile device, settings are only available in a legacy view. Having an important inbox separate from the regular indox disrupts work flow. Much better to use one box then flag what's important. Each gmail update seems to remove functionality available in previous versions. Larger attachments would be nice.

Calendar integration Sucks. It takes 10 separate cut & paste operations to make a calendar event when the email clearly has the subject, date, time, location, & notes-- & I've highlit it! It used to be better. If you get an email from someone it's damn near impossible to add them to your contact list from the mobile app. This is really in abysmal app for as many users as it has. The lack of a customizable autocorrect on the Chromebook version is abysmal.

I can't get search to work properly on Gmail on my Android. I can see an email, but a search of a word in the subject or content yields nothing on the search result. Works fine on windows pc, but not Android. I have Android 13 on a pixel 4a. This has been happening for some time now, maybe a few months. update: I believe I found the problem. I need to add the filter "in:trash" to the search. I assumed that since I was viewing the trash folder, this filter would be applied.
