Rainy Day

It's a good email. Have three accounts and can easily switch between to check my email. I only wish when deleting email that there would be something that could let me delete email all at once instead of having to check mark each email and delete them individually. It is way to time consuming and needs a delete all option. Other than that it's a great email.

This is an amazing app for everyone who sends email. It very easy to use, simple md not so complicated settongs. Although i have 1 question when creating an account for the first time when you entered the age lower for age requirement, it display age not meet the required age. So you try to recreate the account with a birthdate that meets the age requirement it still wont work. Its like stuck with that error like forever tnx in advance.

I was really looking forward to using this app with my new Pixel 2 XL. Unfortunately it does not sync IMAP folders. I had been using the Outlook mail app with my Pixel XL which worked very well. Unfortunately I have had to go back to Outlook. I hope GMAIL fixes this issue. For 3 days I have been running simultaneously Gmail and Outlook with all of the same settings and Gmail does not sync read mail or mail which has been moved to a folder. GMAIL PLEASE fix this issue!!!!

This is my new mail app for now but can't say am a big time fan. Even when I set up notifications it doesn't happen. But most importantly i wish they would categorise all unread mail into one folder, it will make life much easier.

Great way to email once you learn how to use it. After using Hotmail for years, Gmail seemed so different that I wasn't willing to learn how to use it. Once I started though, I quickly decided to make Gmail my main email. The only thing I miss from Hotmail is the amount of unread Gmails displayed on icon. Sometimes I forget to go back and look for new gmail that I moved off cell phone drop down menu. Gmail seems to be one of the few communication apps that doesn't display the number of pending messages on icon like Hotmail, Facebook, Messenger, and Text to name a few. I do recommend Gmail and encourage everyone to give it a try.

Everything is great but search function sucks big time, especially in Bin folder! It cant search for anything proper in any of the folder infact! Please fix it so it is more sensitive to keywords typed and search within the folder including BIN! Thank you! Secondly, can we please have a "select all mails" button/function please?

I notice that notifications don't show up most of the time even though it's on. I can't place my business logo on the signature area. There is not notifications on the app to let me know that a message is there, I'm talking about the number indicator. Please fix these issues. I love the app but the Android market one is not updated

I've just now checked it out even tho its been on my system. And Wow it blew me away on how much more organize this email app is over my other email app! I disable the other email app immediately when I saw the Hugh different and advantage of this Email app. Thank Geessh thank you for a great Email app. I own my own business and anything to improve production is a plus and you my friend get a Hugh plus!

Google I need two things in my Gmail. 1. The ability to check a box to delete all emails at once (like on my computer) 2. The ability to add, delete or modify folders on my phone. If either one of these is a possibility, I have no idea where to find the options. Aside from that, I use Google for everything. Thank you for the good work.

The file attachment sucks. I can only select the photos/documents from a few folders from my phone. That really cause much inconvenience when I try to attach some files in other folders. For example, some editor app saves the documents in their own File path. Those doc can never be found in the Gmail app. File attachment is the most fundamental feature of email and yet it sucks. This app really disappoint me so much.

12/2017: widget options are awful, ugly. Not even option to change color. 4/2017: Really wish it had the functionality of desktop. Wish I could CLICK on a label to see all mail w/ label (presently, clicking opens up Label Selections menu, not what I want! ).

UPDATE 12/2017: Still exactly as terrible as nearly a year ago. I've duplicated my Gmail inbox in the native Samsung client, and it sends notifications HOURS before this awful app. [--Now completely unreliable. Sometimes don't receive emails until the next day. Unacceptable garbage until fixed.]

This app seriously lacks features that could be so useful. Like a sweep option to delete emails from the same sender or a select all option because I can't go through a whole folder of 500 emails to delete them. Seriously do a revamp on the UI and it's features and maybe I'll give an additional star.

Re-reviewing for a newer device... still the most frustrating, least functional email app I've used. Impossible to use select buttons without accidentally opening every other message. It takes 40 clicks to delete 10 spam emails. Talk about inefficient. I thought technology was supposed to increase quality of life by decreasing wasted time. Not with this app. I'm looking for somebody new, don't try to change my mind about it. Peazy.

Many issues with sync. I will consistently read emails on my phone, but not have it registered on my actual email. This appears either when I check my email on a computer at a later point in time, or on my phone, by way of showing something as unread no matter how many times I open it. Further, the odd email causes the application to crash - and after this occurrence, every time the app is opened the application crashes a few seconds later. This is only stopped by removing the email from inbox on a computer.

The mail purpose of this app is to check Email but it doesn't seem to that. Everytime I check my email, I would see that it states there is an unread reply to an email that I had sent, but, once I tap on the Email, all I can see is my own email and no reply even though it clearly shows in the preview that there is a reply. Unfortunate bug. Also the website gmail has no spell checker. Unlike other email websites.

For a Google proprietary app this must be a Google joke. App won't show conversation mails only shows 1st message. Delete from app but still all messages on laptop/desktop remove spam empty bin same problems - so Google what is the actual point of having those options on this joke of an app? Now it takes an absolute age to get or do anything - this really is embarrassing Google - Apple need not worry about the shite you provide.

Ok so please please add a feature to where you can just "select all" to delete mail because I just spent 10 minutes clicking on 800 different emails to delete them and then the app glitched and deselected all of them. Other than that the app is great but I beg you to add that feature.

Can we add more options to notifications other than just Delete and Reply All? How about Mark as Read, Star, Reply or even Label if possible. Also, when in app, maybe swipe left to delete and right to mark as read - much more productive! Otherwise great!

This app is a black stain on Google. Worst app. We don't receive notifications and most of the tines even after receiving the mail, when we open it all we can see is what we had sent in the past and not what we've received. It takes several days to actually be able to read say receive the mail. disgusted.

Like many others I have a synching problem with my mail as well. I sometimes won't receive a notification for an email until almost 12 hours later. As soon as I find an alternative that supports my Gmail account I'm switching

PLEASE FIX inability to mass-delete emails on app. It becomes way too time-consuming to need to select each email to delete, especially when the selected email likes to find the need to open instead of having its little check box checked. And add things we do. My s4 has this cool hover feature. Work's fine in my other email app, but in Gmail. .. nope. But HEY at least it's scanning an categorizing my mail FOR me, right? Ugh.

Deleted emails keep going back into the inbox as new emails. I do not receive notifications for long periods of time, and then weeks later I'm spamed with loads of late email notifications including emails I had already deleted. There is noo way to select all and delete either. Basic features that should not be missing or not working.

Last update was bad. No longer receiving any notifications for any of my IMAP email addresses. I now have to manually check to see if I've received any emails. Update: it still stinks. I'm considering uninstalling the app and simply using outlook instead.

Stsrted several days ago, the problem of nessages containg attachments being just sitting in Que drives one crazy. Ergent work emails are delayed by several hours. Outrageous. Pls help fix the bug. Happy New Year

Sometimes I never get any notifications on new emails although I have already set the notifications to "on". Sometimes I opened the app, refresh it and then only realized that I have new email(s) pending for me since a few hours ago...pls improve on this.

Don't like the fact that you can't sign out of Gmail unless you delete the actual account. I gave my phone to my daughter added her Gmail account to mine and simply want to sign out from mine account so she can use hers but it is not working. I am quite disappointed. And there is no away you can delete all your messages with one click.

Unfortunately, it sometimes fails at what one would think a basic purpose of an email app, i.e. sending email. Sometimes after tapping the icon to send a message, the message is not sent. Instead it remains stuck in the outbox folder forever, claiming to be sending. The Gmail app is up to date. What causes this problem, and will you fix it?

One thing that always bothers me it why there is no way of knowing if attachment is uploaded or it is uploading. Not knowing is frustrating. Can we have at least a progress bar or % indicators. The Sending... Is not very helpful.

Contacts which I saved in name is different but contact show in person name and number show is different. In a single name two numbers show in my account. I findout it's in Gmail account only have some problem so display the different contact name shows two different mobile numbers plz help me to rectify this issue

Been a having synching issues for several months now. No notifications for any mail, but when I click on the app it suddenly populates several emails. Plus, it doesn't synch well with Gmail on a computer and I end up having to delete emails twice.

I have this app installed but rarely use it because you cannot mark your emails as read/unread. Seriously?! Such a fundamental function is omitted. So I check my emails using my phone's email app. Edit: several updates later and this fundamental feature is still not available. Do the developers even look at these reviews?

Google had followed this ambiguity in all the applications most recently in their change log not mentioning as to what exactly changed. A simple dark black theme, unable to delete an email from the thread, undo delete is missing for years! A simple delete of an individual thread is missing

I am having problems after updating this App. I cannot tweet anymore, as it doesn't allow to. You cannot share your Pins on the your normal boards instead it takes you into another website. I used to love Gmail but not after this update.

Has to be one of the worst email app's there is. Looks horrible. Horrible to use. Crazy folder structure. Most emails are important. Don't care about promotion flag, social flag, updates flag. Just make a simple email client.

I hate this app. Outgoing mail gets stuck in queuing for days before sending to the point it's impacting my business as a tattooer. LG V20. Please give me info on how to get my outgoing mail to send immediately.
