Classroom makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect—inside and outside of schools. Classroom saves time and paper, and makes it easy to create classes, distribute assignments, communicate, and stay organized.

There are many benefits to using Classroom:
• Easy to set up – Teachers can add students directly or share a code with their class to join. It takes just minutes to set up.
• Saves time – The simple, paperless assignment workflow allows teachers to create, review and mark assignments quickly, all in one place.
• Improves organization – Students can see all of their assignments on an assignments page, and all class materials (e.g., documents, photos, and videos) are automatically filed into folders in Google Drive.
• Enhances communication – Classroom allows teachers to send announcements and start class discussions instantly. Students can share resources with each other or provide answers to questions on the stream.
• Secure – Like the rest of Google Workspace for Education services, Classroom contains no ads, never uses your content or student data for advertising purposes.


Permissions Notice:
Camera: Needed to allow the user to take photos or videos and post them to Classroom.
Storage: Needed to allow the user to attach photos, videos, and local files to Classroom. It's also needed to enable offline support.
Accounts: Needed to allow the user to choose which account to use in Classroom.

Ratings and reviews

While the website works perfectly fine the Google Classroom mobile app can be very buggy and slow. More times than not, when I have to upload a photo and I press the camera option, the picture does not save, even though I press the check mark, and the app returns me to the home page. This bug has been infuriating for over a year now.

Overall app is good, but today I couldn't login as my school account. I tried my own personal account and it worked, so why? I saw other guys who experienced this problem too and the help page from the reply absolutely sucks. Worst app ever. Solution for fixing: You need to enable the notifications if you didn't. But if you already enabled it, try re-installing a few times. It should work.

I've been experiencing crashes everytime I tried to open my academic email account. I don't know what happened, but everytime I tried to open and put it into my academic account it will just load and then went back to "get started" page. I can't sign in, I hope you will help me. I need it for my studies. Thank you so much! Edit: It's still the same, I still can't open my academic account 😞
