Share your route and ride safe
You can see who's coming to pick you up and in which car right in the taxi app. You'll also see in the driver profile to see their name and rating and be able to share your ride route with whomever you like so they know where you are. On top of that, you can also call emergency services right from the app.

Track your driver’s location
Want to see your driver's current location? Get taxi info easily because Yango does the work to show you the indrive route and current location in real time directly in the app. No need to request it; it’s all there.

The app knows where you want to go
Yango will suggest destinations for you based on your ride history. For example, the app can identify that your home is your most common destination on weekday evenings, so it'll start by suggesting this address.

Several destinations, one route
Yango makes it easy to pick kids up from school, drop a friend off at a bus stop, and do some quick shopping along the way. Just add a new stop in the taxi app, and Yango will recalculate a new route for the driver app.

Yango is an informational service and not a transportation or taxi services provider. Transportation services are provided by third parties. The 30% (max 45 NAD ) discount is valid on the first three rides for new users in Windhoek until 30.12.2023. The referral discount is equal 23 NAD, the territory of the program and other limits and restrictions are set out in the Rules of referral program for Yango users.

Ratings and reviews

Worstexperience..The app is very bad. I have taken 5 to 6 rides, and every time I've been disappointed. Firstly, it charges more when you reach your location. initially, the charges are less, but then they increase. Moreover, when booking a ride, it often duplicates itself and ends up at both locations. This has happened to me, and unfortunately, I had to pay for both. It's a very poor service. According to drivers, they don't see the fare until the end, and then they cancel the ride themselves.

The app is done very very nicely, probaly the best UI/UX I've seen! I'd recommend the following. 1- The app just cofirms the ride itself. There should be an option if I want it or not. I can not wait 10-15 mins for rider to pick me up. I look for rides on other apps as well to find quick and cheap rides. So, this thing is frustrating, that the app will automatically confirms the ride. What if I had found a ride on some other app and forgot to cancel the ride. It is bad for both me and the rider

Customer service sucks. In case of any issue you have no helpline to call. There is a support chat which replies late and with generic answers. Support email will definitely take even more time so you are stuck. Better than Uber, Careem and indrive in Lahore Pakistan. The rides come fast, there are a lot of them available, the prices are just a bit higher. The maps actually work and show the exact location of the car. The map also shows house numbers which are mostly unavailable in Google Maps.
