Ratings and reviews

Good learning resource but I dont like how a lot of things that were once free using the app before is now locked behind a pay wall. For example, many of the dialogues in the imersion section that were once fully free now need a subscription. Well, its still a good resource either way. I just do not like how they approached that section.

So happy to finally have a Chinese app that teaches Taiwanese Mandarin! A lot of Chinese apps nowadays will let you choose between traditional and simplified characters, but only teach vocab from Mainland China. Chinese Skill though now has the option to learn traditional characters with vocabulary from Taiwan. The course itself is put together very thoughtfully and each new lesson builds on what you just learned and has a bunch of great ways to review vocab. I'd definitely recommend this app!

This is a great app to learn Mandarin. The teaching methodology is good. Lessons are practical and help learn and memorize things easily. I like that the app also covers some grammar to help the student understand the structure of sentences, etc. Moreover, there are video lessons, which are a great way to review lessons after doing the exercises in the app.
