I always have issues with the Bluetooth connection. I spend hours sometimes trying to connect. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Update: 10/24/25 The app is not better. I still can't connect to wifi, and the control panel freezes. It takes me over 4 hours to set up just to use only the control panel. This was not worth $800 I paid. Not worth it!!!

quite possibly THE WORST app I have ever had the misfortune of using. Great smoker, but THE WORST app ever. Even when the app and smoker are connected, it says remote use disabled, close door and hit pair to reconnect. this does not work. EVER. I have NEVER had remote control of my smoker, and the wifi/ Bluetooth function is an upscale scam. Don't buy the wifi smoker. stick with analog, it keeps the bad devs out of the picture. ps. customer service is worse.

First time I used my new smoker with the app it worked great for the first 2 to 3 hours, then I noticed nothing was updating. Thankfully the smoker was still running. I tried to reconnect multiple times, and while it said it was connected, the temp and time were wrong, and I couldn't make any changes. I've used my smoker 3 more times since then, and the longest the app has worked has been about 10 minutes. I'm about ready to get ride of it and buy a different brand.
