Yale- Please Read This app is missing key features you would come to expect from a premium, expensive lock. Battery status in app is not available. We are depending on your device to gain entry to our homes, including our children. How is this not in the app to see? When you add a second or third lock, the only way to add a code for the new locks to existing users, is to delete them and re-add the user. When you add a user via lock keypad you cannot edit the name. Not enough letters left..

This app or the device does not reliably work with my Android phone. I tried it with two different Yale models. The app failed to connect with either device. Two different customer service reps advised me to use an iPhone to connect, update firmware, then configure so my Android would work. I used an iPhone for one device but it still didn't work. I bought a Schlage Encode and it worked without issue.

Main warning: you cannot set up a Wifi Bridge using the Android app. It is broken, and would always say that it couldn't connect to my WiFi even though there's great signal strength. I had to use the iOS app on my iPad to do it, but if you only have an Android phone, beware of that. There are some other bugs too. The pages in the app don't always refresh, and the top-left menu (hamburger) button gets out underneath the time in the Android system menu on a Pixel phone, so it's hard to click.
