Yale- Please Read This app is missing key features you would come to expect from a premium, expensive lock. Battery status in app is not available. We are depending on your device to gain entry to our homes, including our children. How is this not in the app to see? When you add a second or third lock, the only way to add a code for the new locks to existing users, is to delete them and re-add the user. When you add a user via lock keypad you cannot edit the name. Not enough letters left..

Overall we are happy with our first smart lock. The feature I hoped for was setting itself to auto lock based on a schedule. We don't need it locking (burning through battery) during the day but at night it would be great if it locked itself after our son comes home and forgets to lock the door. Other than that, installation was straight forward and operations have been good.

An incredibly unreliable app. (or the online service behind it, I don't care which) Unfortunately it's the only way to set up and manage the hardware, so I guess we're stuck with it, but it's bad enough to reconsider getting different hardware. The same app on iOS seems a little better, but honestly isn't actually good, just not frustrating to the point of unusable. Honestly if I didn't have an iPad to set up things, I might have just returned the locks and hubs and keypads.
