VpnService Utilization: If you enable VPN by Guardian, the eero app will utilize Android's VpnService to set up a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection to help keep your device private and secure.

Fantastic! Went through three different mesh systems and all were a nightmare. If you did a modem reboot or other type of power cycle it would take forever to get everything to reconnect again. This thing is idiot proof! Just plug it back up, plug in the satellites and it's done. No complicated setup or anything. It just works as it should. Totally simple and trouble free.

The concept behind this app is great, when it works properly. However, the app regularly stops showing what is connected to the network and the bandwidth usage. This happens multiple times every single hour of every single day. Cox has a similar app for its customers and it never stops showing current connections and their usage. IF eero ever fixes the issue, I will edit/update my review. Not going to get my hopes up. I do NOT recommend this app.

Besides being an excellent router with easy setup and little to configure, the app provides a great source of information. It can tell you nearly everything there is to know about all of the network components (wired and wireless) in your home, including which mesh each object connects to. I have an overly smart home and there are so many to keep track of. When I first got it I had trouble identifying every component and give it a unique id but once done it is great. So very highly recommended.
