It's an excellent app! Functionality is perfect... I really like that I finally can have my travel diary, photos and even map locations in one place. Edit: It DESPERATELY needs an option to only upload over WiFi or to not automatically sync!! I've accidentally used loads of data because I didn't realise it just starts uploading as soon as I'm connected.

It is really easy to use, both before and during a trip. While traveling, you can track your current location and add steps ("posting" and logging activities), but this may drain a bit of battery. You can turn frequency up and down as needed. It would be nice to hide specific sections for certain audiences. Specifically, I want to share my trip publicly, but I have my hotel information saved, which I don't want released. I would also like for everyone to be able to link locations to each step.

I love that Polar Steps maps out our routes and gives us our exact location. I am able to journal and match pictures as we go. When I am busy, I can go back, journal, and add more pictures. I purchased a photo album from our first trip together, and it is simply magical! The quality of the photo album is superb!
