Once my wife and I were confirmed preggers I went about looking for a "dad-centric" app since apparently, all pregnancy tracking apps require you to be female. I found Daddy Up and was not disappointed! The information provided is not "new", but it is timely. Every Friday I receive a notification letting me know which week in the term we're on, where our baby is at in development, and some general tips on how to make things more pleasant for the spousal unit. What I REALLY like about the app is the log and survival kit. The log is basically a personalized activity feed that I have to fill out. I've been writing each entry as if talking to my incoming child so that I can then convert the feed when I fill out the "baby book". The survival kit comes with a contraction counter, a form for inputting doctor and hospital information, and a packing list for the "Go bag". Again, nothing new, but VERY convenient and themed for dads.

Edit: after reaching out to the developers, I learned that the data is backed up with your login. So everything was there after downloading and logging in on my new phone. It won't be your single source of information, but no app should be. Mixes some fun and info together but I like the journaling, checklists, baby names, and survival mode functions the most.

Enjoyed the app (and the pregnancy)! Especially the lady clues, super cool how it relates to what men are going through while helping them take care of their wives. The quotes/"manly" lines were a bit cheesy but it made it fun for laughs too. I see a lot of other pregnancy apps that continue to track the babies growth and predict what will be changing next through the first year or so. I would enjoy seeing and using that addition(geared towards dads) to this already good app.
