I'm surprised by how many negative reviews this app gets. I'm using it with an external GPS and the RaceBox Injector app, and it works like a professional chart plotter. You just need to smooth the COG and SOG, and that's it. After adjusting the ship's dimensions, you get a display comparable to professional marine navigation equipment. I would say this is one of the best navigation apps available for Android.

Warning: No Refunds – Be Careful Before Buying! ❗ I purchased the premium version of this app and was very disappointed. The app did not work as expected, and when I tried to request a refund through Google, it was denied. ⚠️ You should know: once you buy the premium version, you immediately lose your right to a refund under EU law if the app considers the digital content "used" — even if it doesn’t function properly or meet expectations. I have used Seapilot during two summers for small craft sailing and currently it's my favorite boating app. PROS: high quality vector charts, NMEA and Internet AIS, GPX import/export, GRIB files. CONS: no other Finnish lakes than Lake Saimaa, no AIS vessel nationality visible, no Russian charts, uneven pricing of the charts, charts disappear when their subscription expires.
