I love the minimal approach to using Reddit. I'm hoping it'll break a bit of my addiction to it. The interface is super clean. Some of the search options are kind of confusing, and videos rarely play from the home screen when using compact mode. I also wish compact mode had the option to move the thumbnails to the right of the screen. I also wish there was a quicker way to leave videos/gifs when opened to full screen. Other than those issues, this would be a 5 star app.

Thank you for your review. You can swipe down on the full screen video to close it. You can also swipe right to make the video landscape. The search bar works as it is except for the subreddit search bar on top center which searches subreddits only to quickly jump to any subreddit. I will look into providing the option to move the thumbnails.

I don't like logging into Reddit so the premise of this app makes a lot of sense to me, unfortunately after a couple months of using it daily it's super frustrating when comments don't load. It's just a spinning circle. There's no rhyme or reason that I've figured out as to why it's happening. Sometimes comments will load fine then just suddenly stop. Sometimes upon opening the app for the first time in the morning comments don't even load on the first thread. Will update rating if fixed.

Since I don't collect logs it's hard to pinpoint issues for individual users like this. However I think one of the two issues should be causing this. 1. VPN: App simply won't work on VPNs because the reddit api it calls to get data doesn't like that. 2. Rate-limit: It's 96 requests per 10 minutes. There is a word limit here so please mail me.

It's really unintuitive and cluttered feeling. Too many line breaks in the feed dedicated to text, it breaks everything up in an unattractive way that makes it feel claustrophobic as I was scrolling. This app feels like it was made for someone who probably loves it, but it doesn't translate well to strangers using it since everything is poorly documented and the UI isn't friendly to new users. This could be good, I like that there's no logging in necessary, but it's just not quite there yet.
