ESET's Antivirus Test is a simple app containing a file designed, following European Institute for Computer Antivirus Research guidelines, to test the response of antivirus software.
It is completely harmless. It has a single function. It tests whether the antivirus software you use detects this particular file as infected!
So go ahead. Simply download the app and try to open it. Don’t worry. The test sample should be detected by standard antivirus solutions. But, if your test does fail, then you can be sure your Android device is definitely at risk from infection.
