For even greater control, set up actionable push notifications with Macquarie Authenticator to approve or deny online transactions and account activity before they’re processed

A more detailed transaction history
Each time you make a transaction, it’s automatically categorised into groups such as groceries, travel, leisure, or technology to help you better understand your spending
Not good at keeping receipts or warranties? Simply take a photo of them with your phone and upload them to your transaction history via the app for safe keeping

Added security
Once you’re up and running with our mobile banking app, we recommend downloading the Macquarie Authenticator app for our most secure way to authenticate
The app sends you actionable push notifications for you to approve or deny online transactions and account changes from the palm of your hand
It will also give you the option to use a rolling code to verify your transactions if you’re not connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network

Notify us of your travel plans via the Macquarie Mobile Banking app to make sure your accounts stay secure while you’re on the move
When you log into your account overseas via the app, Travel Mode will automatically display your location, the local exchange rate and quick links to lock your card or report it stolen

it logs you out & then you can't log in without the authenticator app which doesn't work as you can't get past "enable notifications" even though they're enabled. when you finally get through to Customer Service, they haven't a ridiculous verification process, wanting you to tell them how much is in your accounts (which you can't access) & even when telling them the exact amount, you still don't pass their verification process & they terminate the call.

Overall good, but over the recent month, there's been several occasions when I just get the huge Macquarie logo and it doesn't get past that. Really annoying - no maintenance warnings or anything, nothing to tell me I need a newer version of the ap. Unfortunately a bad customer experience and happening when I need to transfer funds.

Mostly good but utterly insane that must use separate (poor quality) custom app to verify more than token payments. What is the point of a separate auth app on the same device??! 🤯 Even with that, still only allowed $100K. No phone option for more like other banks; only paper!! Although call centre operates 8am to 7pm (only Monday to Friday), live chat is only 9am to 5pm. And when you eventually get through to a person, they seem to have no idea what you're talking about.
