1 Many (but not all) employers, government benefits providers, and other originators send direct deposits early with an effective date of 1-4 days later. Beginning with your second direct deposit of at least $5 from the same source, the Central Bank of Kansas City (CBKC) will post the funds to your Payactiv Visa Prepaid Card when we receive it, rather than on the effective date. This may result in your having access to the funds sooner. The date CBKC receives your direct deposit and the effective date are controlled by the originator.

Ratings and reviews

When I first started using this app I thought it was great. I decided to go this route so I could access my money when I needed. Half of the time I have to open and shut it down several times before it will actually open up. Today, I have rebooted this app so many times. I have checked the boxes for the updated terms and I still can't look at my account. It will not process past the terms page. Think it might be time to switch to Onepay!

The app worked ok the first few times using it. Now when I try to log in, it has none of my information and takes multiple times to log in. I dont use the app daily, so the $3.99 fee isnt bad for the instant funds, its better than going to a cash advance place when needing a little extra money. If you can wait a few days to get the money, there is no fee. I would just like the bugs to be worked out so when the money is needed right away, it can be accessed.

As other users have noted, this app is complete garbage. The fact that it makes you log in multiple times, just to hopefully get it to work once is incredibly frustrating considering most people rely on this for access to their own money. In terms of the "accesible" money that you're suppose to be able to access early hardly ever works is another huge frustration. Keep checking to see if there are updates available and nope. Just the same crappy app with numerous issues. Horrible.
