Ratings and reviews

There is a monthly "maintenance fee" of $5 that was never disclosed to me. And even though they alert you about every transaction, I was never alerted that the $5 was coming out each month, and so it overdrafted.. again, I was not notified that it was overdrawn. I checked the app to see how much was left on the card, and that was how I found out.

So I've had this account for a few months. I found out that a transaction on my account was a fraud. Called them. After being transferred 5 times I was finally told that because it is pending there is nothing they can do. Really. Every other bank can stop payment. Can you block that merchant from taking more. Also a no! So I hang up. Go to another account and try to transfer myoney so it's safe, I tried 2 accounts GO2 stopped me from moving my own money. I rate them -1. Run Don't use

The interest rate is GREAT!! Only 2 issues. 1. There is a charge to transfer funds into your account using certain methods, NOT all to be fair and clear. 2. The 4.5% is only up to $2K. There are a couple banks that pay 3.75% and/or 4.5% on unlimited savings. So, as much as I like this bank as a secondary account; there are others a bit better for savings. Now, for those that need help with their credit, $100 is low for a starting deposit for a secured credit card. Kudos Go2Bank!
