Took me to a place way too far. Should allow more reasons for Cancellation. I hate this app already. Finding the actual location are difficult depending on the country. I traveled an hour and arrived to find out my reservation was given to someone else. Losing money for hotel. Losing money on the grab ride back and forth. Worse 1st experience with this app. Nothing but problems. Another 2 hours back and more money spent on grab back.

Be careful with hidden charges, especially when choosing pay later. When you choose to pay later, Agoda often applies its own currency conversion rate at the time of payment. This rate is usually much higher than the standard exchange rate, meaning the final amount charged to your card can be significantly more than the price originally quoted at booking. Juding by other reviews, these sharp practices are not uncommon on Agoda. Thankfully, I realised and cancelled the booking.

I booked a flight and received an email saying the payment was processing. A few minutes later, I booked another fligh using the same card. Shortly after, I received two conflicting emails. One saying my first flight was cancelled due to card failure. Another confirming the flight, paid with the exact same card. This makes no sense. If the card worked for one booking, it should not have “failed” for the other. This is pathetic and disappointing because it disrupted my travel plans.
