App is good. SOME support team people are good. They read, and listen and make a legitimate effort to help. OTHER support team people are NOT so good. They don't read, they don't listen and they try to immediately gain access to your phone without listening. Had a few people try this with me. I immediately turned phone off and restarted to break connection. This app is DEFINITELY worth having for when you get someone who tries to help. But know how to turn your phone off or put it in airplane mode - in case you get someone who wants to access your phone without reading or listening.

I've used Tech Coach chat a couple of times on my Pixel 3a XL. The first session was great: very fast response, and spot-on information. The second session, with a different service rep, was both slower and less accurate; the instructions he gave didn't match the menu options on my phone, and I finally ended up figuring out the issue myself. Also, I experienced a weird bug today: the "Send" or "Submit" button had disappeared from the chat feature. All it had was a magnifying glass at the right side of a "How do I ... " box. Closing and reopening the app didn't do anything, nor did restarting the phone. Finally, I called Verizon's help line. They suggested that I uninstall the Tech Coach app and then reinstall it - which seems to have worked. So, overall I think it's a good concept, but with a few hiccups to overcome.

This app used to be great. But about 3 weeks ago it stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 or 4 times. If you even get a box to type a question in half way into the 1st sentence the box disappears. You wait and wait. No answer. I used to tap on the app type in my question. In about a minute some come on and if necessary they could access my phone and fix it. They were better then going to the store. But now you can't get it to even work. And no phone option. Awful
