I was really excited to upgrade to the new Cove Connect system, but the app and the control panel have been way too buggy for the excitement to last. When I go to review the camera the screen is often black and I have to make multiple attempts to view. This is frustrating because when I get notifications (which is hit and miss) I want to see who is at the door in real time. 3 Stars is generous.

Rating just the app itself, and it is terrible on android. I can almost never get videos to load from my doorbell or indoor camera. The lag between a doorbell ring and the camera means the voice feature on the doorbell is completely useless. Also, you have to realize that this is a monitoring company using someone elses products, so I don't expect it will get better anytime soon.

The Cove hardware is great, this app, however, is terrible. It's missing basic features and many of the features it has don't work. It's constantly crashing, locking up, or not saving your settings. If you just want a basic alarm system I think you'd be fine for the most part. Once you add in cameras this thing falls on its face. Customer support is quick and friendly, but they can't really do much to help if the app doesn't work for them either.
