Making a payment through the app is annoying because it doesn't give the option to pay by debit card straight away. You have to go through the process of making a direct payment from your bank, and when it shows the various banks for you to choose from you have to cancel, then select 'pay by card', and go through the payment process again. It would be much easier if the option to pay by card was given at the start of the payment process.

AQUA regularly mark my 'virtual' credit file with negative status. despite regular payments being made, with a balance yes but one I am reducing slowly. VERY DISAPPOINTED BY AQUA. did not realise they would treat a customer this way, then say we want to help. Also this default was unavoidable due to unforseen circumstances. UPDATE: 10/9/25 Thank you but I feel I have exhausted all communication with AQUA & today they emailed to inform me they have decided to put a DEFAULT notice on my File.

Although I occasionally missed timely payments on my Aqua credit card, they still increased my credit limit from £900 to £1,150. The interest rate is relatively high, so it’s important to manage spending carefully. Overall, Aqua has been a useful tool for rebuilding my credit when used responsibly.
