About this app

Screen Lock Pro is created to extend the life of the hardware power button by using the feature within the app. Support for both Admin lock and Smart lock system. Easy to Screen off and lock the device depending on your selected preferences.

This app uses the Device Administrator permission. Necessary for the app to lock with the Admin lock feature.

Read write system settings permission to enable the Smart lock feature of the app.

This app uses Accessibility service. It is optional for Android 9 and above. It is used only for taking advantage of the internal Screen Lock function to overcome the delay in the Smart lock feature.

One tap to off and lock the device using:

Personalisation features:
Animations to pick for Phone lock experience. Vibration feedback upon Phone locked. Lock and unlock sound at varied points to play the tone you love to hear. Sound volume is picked from notification sound as volume and can be further adjusted with ease, also respecting DND mode.

Highly customisable lock icon with an easy-to-use interface. Option to use Metallic and Material icon as a choice for both Admin lock and Smart lock.

Animation speed is adjusted with the “Transition animation scale," and “Animator duration scale”. Our advice, use 1x for the best ‘Screen Off’ experience. The changes may take place after lock and unlock.

Note 1: Device administration must be disabled before uninstalling.

Note 2: Disable default device lock and unlock sound, if applying from this app.

Ratings and reviews

Love the idea, but for whatever reason, the Lock sound option WILL NOT play at animation start, or animation end, and none of the animations actually apply. Phone still does the normal fade out animation. The only time the lock sound plays is when I select "screen off" or "after device locked", both of which delay the sound for a long time. I'd really like to use this app, but if I can't fix this I may uninstall.

Looks and works great! Offers shortcuts and widgets so it works perfectly different launchers. I run several different launchers and it has integrated well with each of them. I looked at a few others before I bought this one and this one has better options and seems like it was well thought out. I also like the way the options are described. It makes it very clear what the different choices affect. Update: Two years later, new phone and Android version and it still works great!

I wouldn't want to operate my phone without this app. I use a flip-cover case and the phone automatically blanks and locks the screen everytime I close the cover. On opening the cover, it just requires my thumb print to wake the phone again. After some initial problems setting up, it now seems to be working as I need, but Android loves to mess with permissions so it is, sometimes, necessary to re-visit the settings.
