Have the premium sub, but having consistent issues with the phone crosstalking with the Android Auto app. The Android Auto app (ABRP) is essentially useless without using the phone as the main interface, a very difficult and dangerous interface while driving. The app will usually fail to display, or use, manually updated battery state of charge, and will usually default to an old battery percentage from weeks or months prior. Trying to navigate using manually selected charge is difficult. VW ID4

There's a bit of a learning curve, but that's probably because ABRP is so technically deep. For long trips it's great when paired with a compatible OBDII device. The ability to see what my state of charge will be at the next waypoint or destination is super helpful. The little icon showing the speed and status of my next charge stop is good too.

I could put up with the increasing slowness, occasional freezes and bugs...but now that there are popup surveys at each charge stop that can't be disabled, I have no more love for this app. Add to this that the car's built-in routing has gotten much better, this isn't worth using anymore, let alone paying for it. It was fun while it lasted, sad to see what was once such a great app slowly die like this.

Hi, to improve our knowledge of charging location quality and the overall experience for you and other users we show 0-2 questions towards the end of the charge session, depending on if the user has answered them before and with some randomness. If you find that the app behaves silly feel free to reach out to us via our official support options.
