The Kotak 811 app is extremely disappointing. It feels like a stripped-down version of mobile banking with very limited features. You can only do basic things like checking balance, small transfers, and mobile recharges. Important services like detailed account management ,Credit score , apply loans or proper service requests are missing. Honestly, it feels useless for serious banking needs.

New 811 app can be better. if you move on to another screen it should log you out on its own in a couple of seconds. By not doing this, app is exposing account holders. This feature in the older version of the app was better. The chat assistance in the updated version is blank.

They deduct funds without adding it to the transaction history in July. When informed, they do not refunded but make sure the charges reflect for months I already paid. In my case, they charged me for April in the month of August which was already deducted in may. Now when I check, there is no update on the missing money. Rather these charges are deducted from the funds I added this month. Make sure to track your credits & debits and ensure money isn't missing from your account. Thieves!!!
