EDIT: To those who end up with the same problem, go straight to the Help Center LIVE CHAT, skip going to the other stuff, and they'll settle it quickly. They handled my issue in like five minutes. OLD REVIEW: It took my payment but it is saying I am logged in on a different account than my Google Play so I can't use the features I paid for, when I AM on the correct account. It's just randomly decided that it wants to stop working now.

It definitely slows your connection down. Also... You want the notifications on so you know what's going on... But they take advantage of that by bombarding you with promotional ads via app notification. Every day I get 2-4 notifications about promotional pricing (I already signed up for a year), dedicated IP, whatever else they want more money for. And you can't opt to turn them off without ignoring the entire app. Pretty shady really, definitely not re-upping or telling anyone to subscribe.

They had a great feature (MeshNet) that enticed me to use their entire service. But now they are killing it and won't allow for canceling and refund my subscription. Clearly, it's not a reliable company so if you want anything that isn't a core feature do not get tempted by their subscription discounts for longer terms as they might not keep what you need.
