Onkyo needed to update the app permissions!! No permission to access the network. No connection to my NT838 since the upgrade to Android 9. Working again. I say again working again. But Onkyo never redponded to one post here!🤨 Before that I thought it was a great app. Really wonderful to be able to control almost every aspect of my receiver. I expect better support for expensive hardware.

Can't find receiver. Worked ok but cannot find receiver which is connected to my router via ethernet cable. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Cannot even get to a settings menu to search for and connect. Don't expect much from this app. I may be replacing this receiver before to long and the lack of functionality of this app will factor into the decision of what brand to purchase.

Stopped working with my TX-NR545 recently. It's been perfect up until now. Looks like I'm not the only one with this issue, please fix it! UPDATE: Found a fix online! I had to edit the device name in my router so that it was only letters and numbers (no spaces or dashes). After that, do a reboot of your receiver (for mine, it is turning the device on, then press and hold CBL/SAT button, then press and hold Power button. You'll see it say "CLEAR", and it should be good after that.
