Passport scan functionality doesn't work. Was excited for it so we could skip the check in line but I have a brand new Samsung and my passport is also new, yet it always says there was some error. Same with all our other Androids and my partner's iPhone. Finally got it to work after an hour and maybe 100 tries, so the information was all fine. It's just not sensitive enough or something.

Blocked all my payment methods during booking. On the third device I used I was able to book through the app and I later receive an email that my booking was blocked because it was "booked through a third party." The email states if I don't complete a verification process I will have to pay £55 to check-in at the airport. Then the verification process will not accept the photos of my travel documents. This process is a nightmare.

I always heard Ryanair was a nightmare, and I thought, "Nah, people are just picky." Well, I just tried to book my first flight using their app, and it’s like they intentionally designed it to make you lose hope. I couldn’t even finish booking! How does a company with this terrible system stay alive? We have Frontier in the US, which has awful service, but at least their app/website works...
