Sonos is awesome. Their products. Sound. Everything. Everything but the app. It used to be great. The latest "improvement" from several months ago has made it almost unusable at times. The interface is awful. Non-intuitive. Volume control is actually a chore if you are running more than one zone. Searching music is even worse. Why fix something that isn't broken? Bring back the old app....if you do it's an easy 5 stars

I have been a Sonos user since the beginning; my house is full of original Play:1 speakers. There are so many things still terrible about the new app, but I'll focus this review on the most frustrating one. The latency and jumpiness when trying to change the volume is terrible, not only on the app but also when pressing the buttons directly on the speaker! I am a software engineer and I can't think of a single good reason volume controls need to be sent through the cloud. Fix this now.

I would liquidate my Sonos system in a heartbeat, if it wasn't so costly for me . Just because we're used to it being terrible doesn't mean that it's any better. Connects to my system half the time and requires a reboot of the app. The other half. Multiple clicks to start stations. Cannot edit favorites order (it's hard-coded to be alphabetical).
