Sony delivers the unexpected through the　"Time-shift UI" experience.

Users can activate Time-shift mode by vertically sliding the time display to marvel at "World Heritage" photos captured with Sony "α(Alpha) Interchangeable Lens Cameras" at different time of the day.

Has potential, but it's not very stable or reliable. The quality of wallpapers is great. But the auto change feature never works for me. The app itself is very slow to load. Sometimes the wallpaper will appear distorted after appearing correctly for awhile and I have to set it again. Sony needs to model the app after the official Android wallpaper app.

I've been using this since 2012 and it keeps getting better and better. The app is working seamlessly on my Xperia 5 Mk II. The breathtaking wallpaper selections, the intuitive UI, and the masterful background music are what makes this app so classy and elegant. It's still the most elegant app in the Play Store and I simply love it.

No idea what the reason behind this is except to try and sell you sony camera products. They used to have a live wallpaper with a clock, used it on my old sony z2 and xz premium. Seems to have vanished and replaced with this "wallpaper" app. It's basically just an app with high red pictures, nothing you couldn't find on Google images and it tells you what camera and lens they were taken with.
